Flying out from Bicester really is the way to do things. For a flight in such a wonderful biplane, it only makes sense to depart from a former RAF airfield that has been brilliantly preserved since the 1930s. A classic flight from a classic airfield.
Bicester has an amazing late 1940s model, which has an outstanding RAF livery, to complement the history of the area that you’ll be flying in. The word on the street is that soon she’ll be joined by three more classic Tiger Moths, one of which is an extremely rare early 1935 example. Quite an impressive collection!
This isn’t just a pleasure flight, it’s a lesson too! You’ll take the controls once you’re up in the air, and feel the true power and beauty of biplane flying for yourself. Once you’ve handed the controls back, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can ask the pilot to throw in some exciting manoeuvres and tricks to really put the exclamation point on your thrilling flight. A wonderful evening, or weekend daytime, in a superb Tiger Moth, in a beautiful area of the country!
