Take your pupper or doggo with you on a night or two away!
Are you fed up of wanting to get away for a break but nowhere will accept the furry member of your family? If so, then this gift experience is ideal for you.
With dog friendly hotels across the country, there are a multitude of locations in beautiful settings, perfect W-A-L-K-I-E-S!
You can choose, depending on location, between a one-night stay with breakfast or a two-night room only stay.
If your cuddly canine needs a break from the everyday grind of the same old smells, licks and things to chew, why not take them away to experience some new sights and scents and get that tail wagging like you’ve never seen before.
Once the recipient receives the gift, all you then need to do is decide whether your loyal friend would prefer some relaxing walks in the countryside, bounding along a harbour or chasing a ball on the beach.
One thing is for sure, you’d be barking mad to stay at home!

What did you get up to?
We visited the Jug and Glass Inn, in Buxton for an overnight stay with our dog, Cookie. The Inn was easy to find located along the A515. Vicky and the team were great, very attentive and welcoming to us and everyone who came in, and clearly animal lovers themselves. Our room was cosy, well maintained and clean with good bedding and towels. Having Cookie with us they had kindly allocated us a room close to a back door should we need access outside in during the night.
After a short dog walk along the Pennine Bridleway (an old railway line) we returned to the cosy bar for a hearty roast beef dinner and crumble pudding and an evening relaxing with the locals, other guests and Cookie who loved all the attention!
Following a comfortable night's sleep and full English breakfast we set off to explore a number of local attractions on Vicky's recommendation.
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was exploring the beautiful country walks, it is a bit 'fresh' in September but made returning to a cosy friendly pub for the evening even more welcoming.

Loved everything about my stay, other than the stress of being told my stay wasnt on their system when I arrived. Luckily the hotel had availability abd they were very accommodating.

Good dog friendly pub
Lovely pub and room. Despite not having any dog friendly walks directly on the doorstep because the road didn't have a pavement, the surrounding garden was fine for our chocolate lab's immediate needs. Food was very tasty.
