Junior Supercar Taster

• Available on selected dates, throughout the year, subject to availability.
• Weekend bookings may be available for a £25 supplement fee paid directly to the venue
• Duration is approximately 2 hours.
• Experience is for 1 child, there will be an instructor in the car. 
• An adult must be present at all times.
• Friends and family are welcome to watch.
• Minimum age is 10 years old, depending on location.
• Maximum age is 16 years old. 
• Available to all children who have a height between 134cm (4ft 5") and 147cm (4ft 10") dependant on location.
• Fluent English is a must in order to understand the instructor. 
• No qualifications are required to take part in this experience. 
• Important Information: The parent or guardian of the driver will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. You will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise the financial exposure should there be an accident. You are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
• Activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions. 
• Please note, there will be a supplement fee if you choose to visit a premium venue.

What did you get up to?
My 12 year old Nephew Connor couldn't believe his luck when I asked if he fancied driving a supercar round Bruntingthorpe race track. He's always loved cars so it really was the perfect experience for him. We turned up 30 minutes before our time slot (thank goodness we did because the queue to register our attendance was really long.) Once we were registered we went and took advantage of all the picture opportunities available with the cars parked in the background. When it was Connor's time to drive we were taken in a minibus over to a section of the track that had been sectioned off specifically for Junior drivers. Connor had chosen to drive a red Ferrari 430. After a short briefing the roar of the engine went up and he was off. He went up and down the track 4 times going in and out of cones and then picking up speed coming back along the straight. Once his experience was finished we were offered the opportunity to purchase some professional photos, we'd taken so many of our own that we decided not to but it's nice to get the option. This experience was brilliant, really well organised, friendly, patient staff. Would definitely recommend.

What did you enjoy the most?
I really enjoyed seeing how excited Connor was driving the Ferrari. Connor informed me that his favourite part was when he was driving a long the straight and could go super fast!
