Duxford is an iconic area for aviation, with the Imperial War Museum and the air-shows that take place there each year. The countryside surrounding the IWM is also gorgeous, and a great place to take a flying lesson.
You have the choice of a 30-minute lesson or a 60-minute lesson. Each lesson begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to the controls on the Cessna 152 aircraft that you’ll be flying. Then it’s out to the plane to enjoy your lesson. You’ll take the controls once in the air and it will be an adrenaline rush like you’ve never experienced. The thrill of flying is one that will stay with you forever.
As a nice little bonus, you’ll also have entry to the museum included, which is a wonderful day out in itself!
