Now, you might be thinking, "I can't even draw stick figures," but fear not! These sessions are open to everyone, regardless of your artistic journey so far. Our talented artist will lead the way, setting up a beautiful masterpiece at the front of the room for you to replicate. They'll provide step-by-step instructions that are so easy, even a penguin with a paintbrush could follow along.
In just two hours, you'll go from a blank canvas to a unique masterpiece ready to adorn your walls. And the best part? We've got all the gear covered! Canvas, easel, paints, pallet, brushes, paint pots, and even an apron to protect your stylish outfit – it's all included. The only thing not on the house is the food and drinks, but don't fret! The venue's always have a great selection of food and drink on offer, should you wish to get involved.

Experience Day Review
My daughter and I decided to visit the Ship Inn in East Grinstead to paint a donkey portrait for our Sip & Paint experience evening.
We were met by Helen, our artist, and 10 other willing 'have a go' artists on a lovely sunny evening in June. We were provided with good quality paints and a canvas to paint our masterpieces onto. We had a good range of paint colours to experiment with too.
Helen gave us short instructions throughout the evening and off we went!
We continued to build up our picture during the 2 hours until we had finished our paintings and were happy with them. We were then invited to have a group photo with us all holding our finished work.

Relaxing Time
I wasn't sure what to expect so it was a nice surprise to spend a couple of hours in a session where I got to try out paint ing a picture. I learnt some interesting techniques & it was great to be allowed to experiment with our own picture. The group size was nice & the workshop leader was very friendly & helpful. It was an afternoon session & drinks are not provided as part of the deal so in that respect very little sipping took place. My daughter bought me a cup of tea. I obviously didn't read the small print as I had thought a 'sip' of something was included. However the experience was very enjoyable & I probably would do another one. It was a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Friendly and helpful
Really enjoyed the experience and it was a gift. We were expecting a drink as it said sip and paint. We were told sorry you need to pay for drinks. Personally I don't think I would have a other go

Great evening
Being someone who couldn't paint a brick I was a bit apprehensive. The venue was a bit tight which made movement between tables a tad tough. The pictures came out great despite all the worries. Would have liked a bit more 1 on 1 reassurance.
