Overview

Open wheel racing is the real deal. This is the type of driving that sits at the pinnacle of motorsport.

Here is your chance to give single seater driving a spin for yourself, or to give the gift of speed to someone special.

Following the initial safety briefing, the lucky driver will first take to the track in a performance saloon, to help learn the racing lines and what to expect of the circuit. The instructor will drive you round initially, so that you can watch the techniques they’re using, and then it will be over to you to put that into practice.

Then we start getting down to business, with your session in an open wheel single seater race car.

When you’re that low down, everything seems even faster than usual. Feel the rush of tackling the circuit from a viewpoint you’ll have seen time and time again while watching the F1. Exhilarating and challenging in equal measure.

Typically, the cars on offer range from a Formula First or a Formula Renault to cars like the Formula Ford. These vehicles have a lot of heritage and are a joy to drive.

About this product

Days of the week vary depending on the location, available March to October.
You'll spend approximately 1-4 hours at the venue timings vary depending on the circuit and weather.
Driving is on a one to one basis but the car is shared with other voucher holders on the day.
You're welcome to bring along family and friends to watch. Restrictions may apply.
You need to be at least 18 years old and the maximum age is 70 years old.
The maximum weight is 108kg (17 stone), maximum height 1.87m (6ft 2"), minimum height 1.57m (5ft 2"). This experience may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy or any mental or physical disability.
You need a full valid UK/European driving licence, which must have been held for at least a year and needs to be shown on the day. If you have points on your licence you may need to check before booking. You may be asked to sign an indemnity on the day.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
This activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions.

The gift vouchers you use for your experience gifts typically have a 18 month validity.

If you have not used your voucher in this time, please contact us and we may be able to help extend the deadline by up to a further six months.

There is an administration fee to extend the validity of a voucher.
