What did the experience entail?
I received the voucher for my Vineyard Tour and Tasting Experience for Two (Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery, Henley-on Thames, Oxfordshire) and I have to say that my friend and I were not disappointed. We arrived to this quaint family owned vineyard based in the most serene surroundings and were blown away. It was a 2 hour experience which started off with a brief history of the place, followed by a tour of the vineyard, grape press, brewery and bottling area, and finished off with an hour of tasting 5 different wines, 3 ales and 4 liqueurs. We loved the fact that there were cheese and crackers with the tasting. Our favourite was the blood orange liqueur, as my friend said "it's Christmas in a glass".. At the end of the tasting we were given the option to purchase the wines, ales and liqueurs at a 'tour' price which was the icing on the cake for us. It is a great experience that we would highly recommend, and it's something we are planning on doing again with our friends.

Our favourite part of this was the tasting of their different products.
We also loved the fact that it is family owned, you really feel the love they put into the place.

Great to have a B&B after tasting session
Interesting tour and enjoyable tasting session.
The wines were good, in my opinion the beers need a bit of work (I'm a longstanding CAMRA member).
Having had the tour, a nice lunch provided on-site by the food van, then in the evening return transport was laid on to a local pub for evening meal. The breakfast next day was good. Obviously, all this was on top of the original tasting voucher.
Overall organisation was very good.

Chiltern Valley winery & brewery tasting
An enjoyable experience in a peaceful, relaxing location. Also booked bed & breakfast so we were able to relax. Would thoroughly recommend.

Spectacular!
Absolutely beautiful place, with wonderful staff and a fantastic place to stay. The gardens are gorgeous and peaceful, the rooms are cozy, and best of all, the wine tasting experience is incredible.
Having completed a vineyard wine tasting experience in Italy this year, Chiltern Valley were far more superior with the quality of their several products, the quality of the tour and the education of each product. My cousin and I had a fabulous time. I also want to point out that the team went above and beyond with helping me alter my reservations several times due to health issues. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning next year. Btw, you can hire the house as whole or just a room! I'll be back with friends. Thank you for a magical experience and absolutely delicious selection of goods, I spent far too much having loved so many of your drinks, hiccup ??

Really enjoyable evening
The wine tour and tasting was brilliant. Really enjoyed the talk about the estate's history. One of the red wines in particular was absolutely superb so we bought a case of it, and the selection of cheeses not only catered in part for my partner who has a cow's milk allergy, but they were all equally delicious. Thank you all, for a wonderful evening!
