What did you get up to?
My 12-year-old Nephew Connor couldn't believe his luck when I asked if he fancied driving a supercar round Bruntingthorpe racetrack.
He's always loved cars, so it really was the perfect experience for him. We turned up 30 minutes before our time slot (thank goodness we did because the queue to register our attendance was really long.) Once we were registered we went and took advantage of all the picture opportunities available with the cars parked in the background.
When it was Connor's time to drive we were taken in a minibus over to a section of the track that had been sectioned off specifically for Junior drivers. Connor had chosen to drive a red Ferrari 430. After a short briefing, I heard the roar of the engine, and he was off. He went up and down the track 4 times going in and out of cones and then picking up speed coming back along the strait.
Once his experience was finished we were offered the opportunity to purchase some professional photos. However, as we'd taken so many of our own, we decided not to but it's nice to get the option.
This experience was brilliant, really well organised, with friendly and patient staff. I would definitely recommend.
What did you enjoy the most?
The instructors were really great, helping him to get to grips with the car and really get some speed up!
What did you get up to?
I took my 11-year-old daughter and two of her friends; however, it would also be suitable and great fun for groups with multiple cars and varying ages competing against each other.
The girls used the 'Easy/Family' and 'Picture' questions. These questions were challenging enough for them and at times I did have to give them a clue!
They took turns to read the clues / write the answers and our rule was the person sitting in the front of the car was responsible for reading the clues and directions to the next village.
The experience lasted approximately 3 hours and we visited 3 villages in total. However, there were some beautiful coffee shops, tearooms and pubs on route, and depending how competitive you want to make it you could easily spend all day exploring.
The girls had a fun afternoon and for us it was a great school holiday activity. We didn't use the Adult/Cryptic and Cryptic Pub Name and Bonus Items so I could organise a second hunt with a group of adult friends and family.
What did you enjoy the most?
It was a beautiful day and they loved walking around the villages looking for the answers.

Disappointed beyond belief!!
This was bought as a gift for our son age 11
Arrived on time for our slot , checking it was smooth , but the added waiver I thought was unnecessary as under age to drive therefore I believe we should have had to but we paid ! That was £29 extra plus on top £25 extra to do the experience on a Saturday! Then £10 for a lap to show you the circuit which he sat in the back as more than 1 passenger !
We went over to pits to wait for our name to be called .. that was an hour which changed the mood slightly but what made it worse is someone else had already jumped in the queue by paying extra ( he did it in front of us !) making my son have to wait even longer , my son wanted to leave but we waited finally after 1 hour 15 he got his turn after a driver change over ... He loved the 3 laps but felt the wait wasn't worth it ... totally disappointed when he was so excited... then we queued again to see pics and video another 40 mins and then paid ridiculous

Disappointing
I am writing this review as a parent and on behalf of my 13 year old son who was gifted a 'Junior Supercar driving experience' voucher for Christmas. The whole booking process was pretty straight forward, we found a track that was local to us and had availability quite quickly. You could choose 1 of 'x' amount of cars included with the voucher but according to my car fantatic son these were 'basic super cars' so we paid an extra £20 to upgrade to a premium car (Nissan GTR 300 Gen). I'm a believer in that if you're going to do something once and it's a one off experience then go all out (if you can) so when the lady offered to add a second car on for an extra £30 we took her up on the offer and again upgraded to a premium car for another £20 (Lambourghini of some kind). We then paid £35 for a waiver which implied that if my son smashed up the cars, we wouldn't be liable for the £5000 excess. Anyway, £105 later we had booked in for 1pm later in the month and were very ex

Not great
Booked the junior experience for my son and they literally just propped old sofa cushions behind him so he could reach the pedals. Lots of waiting around not a lot of communication and we wanted to book a different track but what they dont tell u is some tracks you have to pay extra for and they only have like 1 bookable date all year.

Fantastic day kids loved it
Bought my kids this for Xmas for something diff todo
Well they absolutely loved every second of it
I did read up so knew to take camping chairs and I also made a pack up and drinks as it said you will be waiting around and yes you are waiting around a good few hours but the experience and just getting some fresh air with some computer mad kids did them the world of good and as soon as they got out the car they asked when they can do it again.
Highly recommend it
