What did you get up to?
I booked my experience online using the Twinwoods adventure booking system, all I needed was the Activity Superstore voucher number. The staff were very lovely and briefed us on safety procedures and how to take on the wave. We rehearsed all the tricks and turns beforehand which made it easier once we were on the FlowRider.
Once the wave got going, we got started with bodyboarding and slowly progressed to standing. Everyone was challenged to the best of their abilities, 5 out of 7 people in the group had never participated in any board-based watersport before but equally enjoyed it. There was plenty of options and tricks for everyone to try out from flips, jumps, turns, knee stunts and just relaxing and enjoying the wave.
I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to do something different or as a family activity as most ages can ride.
What did you enjoy the most?
I loved how real the waves felt. This definitely got the adrenaline going, great way to surf without the cold weather.
What did you get up to?
The live escape room experience was something I never thought I'd look into doing or even enjoy doing, however this was something unique! After being greeted at the door by a friendly face we did not waste time any time. They gave us the low down on a couple of last-minute hints and clues on how to complete our escape room game. We weren't alone as we were given a Walkie Talkie to use if we got stuck. The experience consisted of various puzzles and challenges, each leading to the next answer for a padlock or a locked item, once we had solved all the puzzles we managed to find the key and escape!
What did you enjoy the most?
Finally managing to solve the experience and getting out just in the nick of time - definitely got the heart rate up!!
What did you get up to?
We visited Delta Force Upminster to take part in their paintballing for four people. I brought my family along with me as I knew they would enjoy the experience.
As soon as we arrived we were kitted out with overalls and given our bullets.
We decided to get the recruit pack, which gave us extra padding and bullets for the day ahead!
We were then put into teams and given our safety briefing, before heading off to 3 amazing game zones. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
The games lasted about 20-30 minutes each and were so much fun!
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was the last game, capture the flag!
Some of us had run out of bullets, but still kept shooting to scare the other team, and one of our group even managed to secure the flag!!
We went from being slightly scared at the beginning to thoroughly enjoying the day and being on the winning team.

Fun times
First time of doing an escape room. Was really fun and we all want to do another.
Couldn't see the front door of the venue for awhile and thought......Well that's not a good start for us lol

Great Fun!
My first and last experience at Exciting Escapes, sadly I heard they are closing down in Basingstoke. But despite this my party and I all had a great time there, we were well looked after and definitely become addicted to doing another now that we're hooked, just not sure where to go.

Great day out
I was given this gift of my wife she knows I love mustangs so we set a date to go to it.
Upon arrival you pay the £2 car park fee then was told where to park at then I had to go & register I was given a lanyard & a clear bag with a card that the instructor had to fill in.We went & stood by the fence waiting for my name being called out & we watched the cars going out & coming back in there's numerous makes & models of the cars I was driving the mustang ranch when my name was called you get took to the car to do the laps you only do 3 laps round the track & it was an amazing experience from a start to finish.
All the staff are very friendly & know what they are talking about.There is toilets on site & a cafe.
I would highly recommend this to any one we had the best day ever.
