This fun activity will test your powers of observation, you’ll need your wits (or a teammates!) to solve riddles and follow clues to find the various spots on the course.

To make sure each and every experience creates the most memorable moments at the highest quality, we have our own team test them as often as we can.
I took my 11 year old daughter and two of her friends; however it would be suitable and great fun for groups with multiple cars and varying ages competing against each other.
The girls used the 'Easy/Family' and 'Picture' questions. These questions were challenging enough for them and at times I did have to give them a clue!
It was a beautiful day and they loved walking around the villages looking for the answers. They took turns to read the clues / write the answers and our rule was the person sitting in the front of the car was responsible for reading the clues and directions to the next village.
The experience lasted approximately 3 hours and we visited 3 villages in total. However there were some beautiful coffee shops, tea room and pubs on route and depending how competitive you want to make it you could easily spend all day exploring.
The girls had a fun afternoon and for us it was a great school holiday activity. We didn't use the Adult/Cryptic and Cryptic Pub Name and Bonus Items so I could organise a second hunt with a group of adult friends and family.
What did the experience entail?
We thoroughly enjoyed a family day out to Lancaster where we were all able to take part in a fun-filled treasure hunt. The treasure hunt wasn't too tricky, nor was it too easy, which meant that everybody in the family could get involved - regardless of age. It was such a wonderful way to explore the city of Lancaster, which is something that we had never done before. It even came with some extra 'bonus' rounds, which provided the adults a bit of an extra challenge as we meandered through the city, and it created some fun competition between us both! Overall, it was an immensely fun day.
What did you enjoy the most?
We enjoyed exploring a new city whilst taking part in the treasure hunt - it felt like a fun game.

Not very interesting
Things to find weren't interesting or related to the location at all.
I was expecting to learn more about the city or to have quirky facts to find.
Rather than just finding random signs etc.

Not a treasure hunt
Very disappointing as it is not a Treasure Hunt but a quiz you have to print out yourself. Very expensive for what it is. Children Very disappointed and it didn't hold their attention. Don't waste your monet. Southwold is a lovely town but that is regardless on having Treasure Hunt there.

Clues outdated
There were 2 levels of difficulty for this hunt. As we had children with us, we chose the easy version. However, there was nothing easy about it! We found that several of the clues were outdated so no longer existed. Also, the wording of some of the clues was extremely difficult, even for adults.
Regardless of this, it also had no conclusion. There were no puzzles or intrigue, it was simply answering questions (some of which impossible) and then it ended. We were really disappointed unfortunately. When we read the answers, we went back to find the clues we missed and discovered they were no longer there. All together, a disappointing experience.

Treasure Hunt
This was bought as my birthday present last year while my youngest daughter was living in Australia, it's taken all this time for us to finally get together and do as a family. I can honestly say it was well worth the wait! So much fun! We all enjoyed immensely. We did the harder challenge and at times it was! Would highly recommend as a great family day out.
