Desk-usting Behaviour

Let me paint a little picture for you: you've arranged your office desk just the way you like it. It's your thoughtfully created working space - your own personal haven, if you will. Perhaps there's a pot plant in one corner. Perhaps a picture of your kids or you and your mate dressed up. Maybe a tastefully arranged knick knack or two. We're just guessing here. The details don't matter. What DOES matter, though, is the way your colleague sees fit to come up to your desk with no prior warning and dump literally armfuls of random stuff all over your desk. Things that require your urgent attention. Things that take up not only desk space but head space. Things that, quite frankly, cut into your precious 'me time'.

Honestly, if that colleague wouldn't keep giving you work to do, this would be a great place to work. So how can you stop them? Well you could try putting barbed wire around the perimeter, or buying an attack weasel to patrol your desk, but there is a simpler solution...

Simply place this funny office mug strategically in the middle of your desk and hope that they get the hint. It doesn't mince words, warning baldly: 'Don't you f*cking dare put another thing on my desk' (with no * - it actually says the actual naughty word!) I mean, if that doesn't put a stop to their selfish behaviour then nothing will. Except maybe the attack weasel.
