What did you get up to?
When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff members who showed us over to the reptiles, to meet and greet. We were able to hold a few of the Gecko's which my daughter loved and found hilarious as one particular Gecko climbed up her arms, shoulders and then proceeded to perch itself on to her head.
My daughter then got to hold a rather scary, scaly snake, who coiled themselves round her wrist like a bracelet. Needless to say she actually found this rather cute and soon its reputation of being a cold blooded killer was quickly demolished.
Next up was the main event.. Swimming with the crocodiles and alligators.
After a quick change into our swimwear we were met at the pool by an experienced reptile trainer who gave us a briefing of how to hold the crocodiles and what to do in the event of one of them being on the lively side, although we were assured this would not be the case.
In the pool we were joined by Smee the Crocodile, Gidget and Tinkerbell the Aligators... Yes they are all named after Peter Pan characters which I found rather sweet. We got to hold them all in the pool and watch them swim past us quite contently.
After a quick change we went on to see the venomous snakes (who we were not allowed to hold) and some of the more ferocious Crocodiles who we were not allowed to swim with called Wendy, Tick Tock and Ali G and it was quite evident the reason behind this was the sheer size of them, you would not want to be swimming alongside them any time soon!!
What did you enjoy the most?

Swimming with Crocs
I have to say, this is one of the very few experiences where you get far more than you expect.....always a pleasant surprise.
The variety of reptiles they had was incredible and the staff were more than happy to support the children to handle the more docile characters.
Lovely staff. The building could do with a little TLC.

Venue good. Activity Superstore support very poor.
My grandson and l had a great time at Crocs r Us, Filton, Bristol!
However, if you're imagining a tropically heated indoor tank full of docile young Alligators, think again!
The tank was outside, the water was freezing cold, and only about 2 feet deep, so hardly deep enough to swim in! Having said that, the 2 Alligators, Tinkerbelle and Alli G, were both very docile and happy to be handled (probably too cold to be able to react quickly!)
The young girl handler, Ruby, was very good and clearly very concerned for the crocs' welfare.
Afterwards, the tour inside, led by Maisie was excellent, although the whole place has a ramshackle, "heath Robinson" feel to it, which made me nervous about the possibility of one of the several deadly snakes escaping!
We were also disappointed that the cafe next door, where we had to wait for half an hour before the start, had closed, even though this was only 3.45 pm. Also, a meal was supposed to be inc

Really amazing experience!
Really amazing experience to have, the staff were friendly and the owner is so chill and kind.
However, it did say it included lunch which we did not get. We were told to sit and wait in the cafe but we were not told if this is where lunch was provided or when. Once the experience was over that was it and we left unsure what to do about 'lunch'. Although the experience itself was amazing enough we weren't going to cry about not being provided lunch just would have been nice if we got it.

Superb day out
I had this experience bought for Christmas and I must admit it was a huge surprise I did not think that being in water with crocs in this country would be possible but I was wrong. The staff are very well informed of all the creatures they have and they are in immaculate condition. I got to hold two crocs in the water it was a truly amazing experience. Maisie answered every question I had and I came away with a greater knowledge and respect for them. We also had a tour of the various reptiles there and got to handle some of them. The python wrapped around my neck was an experience I will never forget. I have to say that this company have got the customer experience down to a tee and I can wholly recommend them so if you want an unusual day out with friendly people this is the one for you.

Incredible!
This experience was absolutely amazing. We got to learn about a lot of the different reptiles they had on site, saw all the difference crocodiles and alligators, and then the actual swimming was a dream come true. It was April, so the water was freezing and too cold for our 5 year old to stay in for very long, but she was happy to watch, she got to hold the alligators, and the water was fine as long as you kept moving. We learned so much about these incredible animals, and loved every second. If it wasn't so far from where we lived we'd be going back often! We also got to hold some of the reptiles they have for sale afterwards, including snakes and a chameleon. Cannot recommend this experience enough!!
