What did your experience entail?
My Wife and I decided to book a Rural Escape for Two at the Stag in Maidwell. The rain was torrential on our booking day, so we planned to stay put in the pub. We found the staff to be warm and welcoming as they showed us to our room and later as they served us dinner and drinks; which can be purchased separately upon arrival. The room was clean and tidy, with everything we needed for our short stay. We had a pleasant evening chatting, and the beds were very comfy. The next morning, we were served a veggie full English breakfast with a large flask of coffee, which set us up for the day. The pub is located nearby Foxton locks which was made for a lovely morning walk along the canals.
What did you enjoy the most?
The cosy Bed and Breakfast, hospitality, and good food.

Lovely place to stay
Hosts were very pleasant and friendly, Room was beautifully decorated, comfortable sofa and bed, bathroom was clean and well maintained. Overall a lovely stay, would recommend.

Great overnight stay!
Stayed here overnight on a Sunday night so the hotel was quiet. Room was ready 30 mins early which was good. Room was big and bed was comfy. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice available.
All staff we met were very friendly.
We caught the bus into Garstang town centre as its on a main road which was very handy. Garstang was great with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Hunstanton stay
A really enjoyable stay in a quality B&B. Ideal area for wanting to explore Hunstanton and the surrounding north Norfolk coast. Well appointed rooms and an excellent breakfast.
