As days out go, this is really fun and unique. A great date day out for animal lovers.
To start, you’ll take a group stroll around the hundred-acre farm with the donkeys. There’s plenty of wildlife to see, and it’s a great opportunity to make friends with the donkeys and enjoy your surroundings.
After your lovely walk, you’ll have worked up an appetite. Your freshly made picnic will be ready to enjoy, along with refreshing drinks. Chill out together, enjoy some great food, each other’s company, and the company of the lovely donkeys!

What did your experience entail?
My partner and I visited Dashing Donkeys in Guildford for our picnic experience. We easily located the venue and were warmly welcomed by the knowledgeable Alexandra, along with our small group of seven. Alexandra provided us with a brief overview of the day, sharing insights about the donkeys, the farm and then led us to observe the impressive herd of over 30 donkeys in their field.
We had the delightful opportunity to meet, groom and leisurely walk the donkeys around the picturesque farm, offering stunning countryside views. The experience was not only unique, but also surprisingly tranquil, enhanced by accommodating staff who even provided us with a pair of wellies for the walk! To finish off the day, we enjoyed a picnic in the barn due to the wet fields. The spread included a diverse selection of sandwiches, sweet and savoury treats and a choice of teas and coffee.
What did you enjoy the most?
The highlight for us was strolling with our donkeys, and the opportunity to be in the company of these affectionate animals.

Donkey Picnic
Great fun and on the whole the donkeys behaved themselves!
They all had their own personalities and they were happy to go for a walk although it was a very hot day.
Not an easy venue to find but the instructions were very clear

Donkey picnic for two at Dashing Donkeys
A very enjoyable experience for myself and my husband. We were told all about the donkeys and having the hands-on experience of grooming them was lovely. My husband and I walked two lovely donkeys who were sisters, Becky and Erica, and they were very will behaved. The picnic afterwards was great, very filling. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

Fantastic
We had a wonderful 2 hours where we got to learn all about the donkeys , we got to give them a good old rub down with a brush before talking them all for a walk around the fields .., these are such beautiful adorable animals , how cannot be anything less than a fantastic experience .., also it was nice to finish off with a picnic , the perfect morning
