Da Vinci Catapult

This fantastic wooden toy is an easy assemble scale model of Leonardo Da Vinci's original catapult design. Based on two different drawings found amongst Da Vinci's immense body of work, this catapult toy actually works and will fire soft clay balls. What's more, through making this Da Vinci catapult kit, you will get a brief insight into the mind and genius of one of Italy's most famous sons.

A great educational gift for children or adults, it's ideal for any occasion. Wooden model kits are a timeless present for anyone who loves making things and this one is super easy to assemble. The kit contains everything you need to build your own catapult (apart from scissors!), so you can be sure that they'll start trying to put it together almost immediately. Whether they are a fan of military history, Da Vinci, or simply firing things at other people, this is a great gift for men of any age!

This wooden catapult kit includes full instructions for building and usage, making this a simple build for adults and older children. There's also a little bit of history on Da Vinci's innovative catapult designs, so you'll be full of knowledge as well as being in possession of a working catapult. Why not pop it on your desk at work and fire the clay balls at anyone who annoys you? Or use it at home to get your partner's attention? Combining weaponry, history and lots of fun, this Da Vinci Catapult is a glorious gift!

Easy to assemble with very clear instructions, and great fun to play with when completed. Can be assembled without glue and then partly disassembled to glue firmly once you're sure it's all correct.

This a is a lovely item and an unusual gift. My daughter has recently been enjoying woodwork classes at school and I thought this would be the perfect gift to add to her christmas stocking to keep her interested. It is a solid piece once constructed and she was able to assemble it by herself. It is great to link the science with the construction, especially as it links to the KS3 curriculum.
