This competitive pastime is quickly becoming one of the nations fastest growing sports, with more and more men and women picking it up. So why not grab a mate, give it a go and see if this is your calling?
Your day will start with a friendly briefing which will explain how the guns and equipment work. You will be shown some helpful shooting techniques and then it’s time to take to the targets for some friendly competition! Depending on your ability, you will each get up to 50 clays to master your technique, although more clays can be purchased on the day.

To make sure each and every experience creates the most memorable moments at the highest quality, we have our own team test them as often as we can.
Our instructor definitely knew what he was talking about! The day started with a quick introduction to the sport along with a safety briefing. You then get measured up to a gun and a few tests. You then get straight into shooting which is brilliant. There is no time wasted and they are more than happy to go the extra mile. You get a lot for your money! The best bit was the sense of satisfaction when you hit the target and also that I wasn't completely rubbish at it! The fact the experience and tutor was happy about the amount of shots we had and allowed us to shoot at our own pace. It was a lot more enjoyable that I thought it was going to be and it wasn't always easy to hit the targets if they were moving away from you!
What did your experience entail?
Me and my partner attended the shooting range, we were welcomed by staff and offered complementary tea and coffee while we had a short wait while they got our equipment organised. We had a brief safety demonstration and an explanation on what to expect from our experience and then walked out to the first shooting range. John our instructor was great, he was enthusiastic and was giving us lots of fact and showing us how to shoot at each range. We got to try about four different target areas. We were very impressed that each shot was tailored to each of our abilities and you can stay on a target as long or as little as you wanted and then you would move onto the next one to try. What an amazing experience!
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part was the how enthusiastic our instructor was and how he tailored each shot to our own abilities which made it more enjoyable for both of us.

Clay Pigeon birthday gift
We had never fired a gun of any sort prior to this, so complete newbies. The venue was easy to find and booking in was easy. Our instructor made the experience great fun, and we hit more targets than we had expected.
Overall a great day out, I would definitely recommend.

I took my son Jack (15) to give him the experience & hopefully improve on his last shoot.
He was greeted by Vince who instructed me the week before, I gave Jack the full 100 clays as he'd just completed his GCSE's.
Jack really enjoyed himself & Vince put him at ease with his calm tuition.
Jack got 48/100

First timers!
A gift experience for myself and I took my 14 year old daughter. We were made to feel very welcome and great hospitality. Excellent tuition and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We hit a few clays between us!
