What did you get up to?
We visited The Dog and Partridge, Ashbourne, Derbyshire for Afternoon tea for Two. We had been exploring the area with our dog and was delighted to be able to have our afternoon tea served in the bar which was a dog friendly area of the pub.
The Dog and Partridge Inn is located just set back from the main road, easy to find while traveling from the Peak District National Park.
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was the home-made cakes and scones. After a morning of walking the freshly prepared afternoon tea, served in a cozy pub was a delicious treat for all three of us!

Afternoon tea
The Grove at Cromer is a beautiful location for afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was lovely but quite ordinary - we failed to see where the 'Deluxe' part came in. In fact, the cakes were very disappointing; a profiterole, a piece of plain sponge topped with a blob of cream and a piece of marbled sponge.

Excellent Experience
After a slight hiccup organising my afternoon tea experience in that the first venues we tried were unable to accommodate us we were delighted with the eventual outcome of tea in Glastonbury which couldn't have been bettered both for the ambience of the venue and the quality of the fare provided.

Perfect end to the perfect day
Had an absolutely wonderful day, topped off with a delightful afternoon tea for two at the Abbey Tea Rooms in Glastonbury. Quaint little venue with a huge selection to eat and drink. Did not bat an eyelid when asked to be seated outside, as it was such a gorgeous and sunny afternoon. Cheerful and friendly staff served fresh sandwiches and scones with cream and fresh clotted cream. Will definitely visit there again when we are next in Glastonbury.
