Get airborne and glide through the skies, without an engine in sight!
To take off, your amazingly designed glider is attached to a winch, which lifts you up into the sky. Your exhilarating gliding flight will last for around 10-15 minutes, depending on the conditions on the day. This is an experience like no other, and once you’re fully in the air, you’ll hit heights of between 1000 and 1500ft.
On arrival, after your initial safety briefing, you’ll be strapped into the glider, along with your instructor for the flight. It’s then time to go gliding!
There’s an unusual tranquillity to gliding from such a height, taking in the wonderful scenery around and below you. The aim is to allow you to take the controls for a period, but due to regulations and potentially the flying conditions, this isn’t always possible. Either way, being onboard these gliders is such a thrill and a truly unique experience.
